This insecticide-free insect trap features a patented attractant that effectively attracts and kills thousands of houseflies (Musca domestica), house lice (Fannia canicularis), and similar sucking pests without targeting stinging or biting species. Housed in a durable, shatterproof bottle, it is completely safe for use around children and pets, making it ideal for livestock areas, outdoor kennels, gardens, and refuse spaces. Designed exclusively for outdoor use, the trap relies on sun exposure and accumulated dead insects to maximize its attraction—getting more effective the longer it is used. Easy to assemble, maintain, and reuse, the organic contents can simply be buried deep in garden soil as a rich natural fertilizer once full.

Shake the attractant thoroughly before opening.

Pour 30 ml (2 tbsp) of attractant into the jug and fill it 1/3 full with water.

Gently shake to mix, screw on the top assembly, and place outdoors in a sunny spot 120 cm (4 feet) off the ground, well clear of drafty areas or livestock access.
Maintenance & Tips:
Weekly Care: Swirl the trap contents twice weekly to submerge caught flies and add water as needed so it never dries out. In hot weather (>30°C/85°F), move the trap to the shade.
Maggot Control: If larvae appear, add 1 tsp of washing-up liquid with extra water, shake, and let stand for 24 hours (or use 3 tbsp vegetable oil overnight for stubborn infestations) before adjusting water levels.
Disposal: Once 2/3 full, empty the trap by burying the insects at least 15 cm deep as fertilizer, rinse (do not scrub clean, as residual smell helps lure new flies), and refill with fresh attractant. Never seal dead insects in an airtight container.
