Formulated from 100% pure animal fat, Pure Neatsfoot Oil provides deep-penetrating protection and water-repellent waterproofing for leather exposed to harsh weather or heavy use. It conditions, softens, and restores flexibility to all types of real leather—including saddles, bridles, reins, and boots—making it an excellent treatment for both equestrian gear and outdoor footwear (such as Gore-Tex® leather boots).
Clean the leather item thoroughly with lukewarm water and saddle soap.
While the leather is still slightly damp (not soaking wet), apply the oil evenly using a soft cloth.
Apply additional light layers as needed depending on the condition of the leather.
Allow the item to dry completely before use.
For a light sheen, buff with a clean cloth once the oil is fully absorbed and dry.
Important Notes:
Color: Pure Neatsfoot Oil will permanently darken leather.
Compatibility: Not intended for suede or smooth leather items that require a high-gloss, mirror finish.
